In Remembrance with Gratitude

WARREN ROSENBERG

Warren Rosenberg promoted, served, and helped lead the Club for more than 30 years, including many years as a board member. He chaired Programs, the lifeblood of our educational mission, identifying and recruiting a wide array of outstanding presenters and teachers. Every year, he organized field trips to such photographers’ delights as Wave Hill, Stone Crop Gardens, the Zoo, and the Botanical Garden. His enthusiasm was contagious and his salesmanship for photography and the Club was irresistible. He would stop anyone with a camera and invite them to visit a Club meeting and join. He drew new members from all across Westchester County and facilitated many lasting friendships. Warren was himself a highly accomplished photographer, a teacher, and a mentor.

BUNNY SOLOMON

Bunny Solomon dedicated a great deal of her life to the Color Camera Club. She was a member for more than 30 years, and President of the club from 2012 to 2014. When she became President, her desire was to modernize the club and she changed it in positive ways. She reorganized the Board. She modernized and automated the web site. She revived the dormant International Competition and brought into the digital age. She developed the mentoring program to offer wonderful opportunities for learning. Every year she mentored new club members on the basics of how to use their cameras. Bunny was a top salon level photographer and her photos won many awards. She loved to travel and share her photos with club members. Her passion and dedication to the club was extraordinary and unmatched. She is irreplaceable and will be sorely missed. She will long be remembered.
