What is this?
Join member Elijah Goodwin for an exploration of the basics of close-up and true macro photography. We will cover all the types and combinations of equipment that can help you achieve close-up and macro magnifications and the accessories and software that can help you maximize success. We'll explore the techniques, tips, and tools that will help you handle issues specific to high magnification photography; including critical focus, depth of field, and eliminating motion blur. We will touch upon focus stacking as a tool, but note this will not be a focus stacking centered workshop. Finally we will explore how these tools and techniques can be combined with good subject choice and composition decisions to create stunning macro images. Participants will have a chance to play and practice with provided set-ups using their own equipment or equipment provided for the workshop.
